Winter Weather Inspires Large Donation to Feed My People Food Bank

Holiday Vacations has generously donated food to Feed My People Food Bank in an effort to alleviate hunger during this unseasonably cold winter. The food bank received 1,000 dozen eggs, 1,000 jars of peanut butter and will receive 1,000 bags of spinach at a later date thanks to the local travel agency.

The below freezing temperatures in west central Wisconsin mean higher heating costs for everyone. For struggling families, this increase in utility bills can add strain to already tight budgets. Some of our neighbors may face having to choose between heat or food. Seeing this problem, Holiday Vacations has generously offered the community some relief.

“Holiday Vacations came forward with a special food donation based on the weather being so severe,” said Patrick Stoffers, owner of Holiday Vacations.
