Empty Bowls — Save the Date

Empty Bowls brings community members together for food and fellowship. Students and local artists donate hundreds of hand-crafted bowls in support of the event. Proceeds from Empty Bowls help Feed My People provide food to thousands of hungry families throughout west central Wisconsin.

Swipe Out Hunger

Tuesday, August 1 - Tuesday, August 8  | 12 PM

Swipe Out Hunger is a Merchants Bank initiative to support local hunger-relief agencies in our communities. Feed My People has been nominated by the Eau Claire branch and could be awarded up to $2,500.

Grandparents and Grandkids Painting Event

Tuesday, August 15  | 1 - 3 PM

Join us at the L.E. Phillips Senior Center for a fun afternoon of painting Bowls will be decorated and given back to Feed My People to be used for the Empty Bowl Fundraiser. Bring $1 per person donation to help defray the cost of the painting materials.

Kids, 4+ years are invited but must be with a grandparent or a parent. Join the fun, be creative, all while helping families in our community who struggle with hunger.

No experience necessary. Supplies will be provided. Call (715) 839-4909 to reserve your spot. 

Bean Bag Tournament

Saturday, August 19

Cornhole, Bean Bag Toss, Bags...whatever you call it, come out and join in for a great cause!
WWIB's first annual "Toss Out Hunger" Cornhole Tournament AND Silent Auction to benefit Feed My People Food Bank takes place on August 19th from 10am-1pm, at The Calvary Baptist Church Parking Lot located at 3036 Epiphany Ln. Eau Claire!

Mobile Food Distribution at McKinley Charter School

Tuesday, August 22  | 2:30 - 3:30 PM

Community members in need of food assistance are welcome to join Feed My People in the parking lot of McKinley Charter School located at 1266 McKinley Road, Eau Claire. A variety of fresh in season produce, milk, bread/buns, crackers and cookies will be available. Help us spread the word about this opportunity. Thanks! 

Longfellow-Produce Mobile Distribution

Thursday, August 24  | 11 AM - 12 PM

Every Thursday during the summer Feed My People distributes fresh produce, meal bags for kids along with other items to families who can use the extra nutrition over the summer. Look for the FMP truck in the Longfellow Elementary parking lot at 500 Balcom St, Eau Claire, WI 54703.

There will be two shifts - one from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and the other from 5:30 to 7 p.m. - to choose from. Meals on Wheels Emergency Meal Box Distribution

Thursday, October 26

Through a partnership with the Eau Claire County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Meals on Wheels, 400 emergency meal boxes will be distributed to seniors in our community.

Agency Gathering

Monday, October 30

Feed My People's semi-annual Agency Meeting is a chance for representatives from hunger-relief partners in west central Wisconsin to receive and share information on current trends and best practices in running effective hunger relief programs.

November 2017

Hammers and Heels Fashion Show

Thursday, November 2  | 6 - 10 PM

This high-energy, couture fashion show showcases designs created from raw building materials by area businesses. Dedicated to bringing attention to the local building industry, this event also raises funds and awareness for local non-profit organizations related to housing & basic needs.

Doors open at 6pm, show begins at 7pm. Tickets will be on sale in September 2017! General Admission: $35 by Oct 29th, $40 after October 29th.
