In the fall of 1982, with a belief that together they would be stronger, 6 area churches joined efforts to feed families struggling with hunger. Born out of the vision, hard work and commitment of those individuals seeking to make a difference for over 35 years FMP has served as a leader in hunger-relief efforts across west central Wisconsin.
Many things have changed. We have added staff, trucks, and a 45,000 sq ft warehouse allowing us to annually rescue and distribute roughly 7 million pounds of food to over 70,000 people. We partner with over 200 programs to reach families in 14 counties in west central Wisconsin providing nutritious food including fresh produce.
Some things, however, remain the same including our commitment to addressing hunger and our belief that partnership and collaboration are the tools to get there.
