As the only food bank in west central Wisconsin, Feed My People distributes 7.3 million pounds a year to local agencies. We are a cost effective way to provide pantries, community tables, and shelters enough food so thousands of people can be helped each month.

Feed My People Named Markquart Gives Back Recipient

Markquart Motors, Markquart Toyota, and Markquart of Menomonie launched their Markquart Gives Back program once again this year to ask the public to vote for their favorite local non-profit to receive a donation. Feed My People was voted into the top 10 and received a generous monetary gift at a reception last week.

"We have received an outstanding amount of support throughout this Markquart Gives Back campaign. We would like to thank you, the community, for coming together and choosing the organizations that are important to you," shared a Markquart Motors spokesperson.

The money donated to Feed My People has been designated towards its Weekend Kids' Meal program. These meals bags make sure every child in need in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls School Districts has a go-to source of food over the weekend.

Other non-profit Markquart Gives Back recipients include Dunn County Humane Society, Bob's House for Dogs, Eau Claire County Humane Association, Helping Hands, Eau Claire County Veteran Services, L.E. Phillips Senior Center, Pony Tales Refuge & Rehab, Chippewa Humane Association, and Chippewa Valley Free Clinic.

Over 12,000 people voted during this campaign. Voting took place online from December 2 through 13.
