Smiles for Seniors Day
Thursday, March 28
Volunteers will be descending on Feed My People Food Bank in order to help distribute boxes of food to seniors all over Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. When Meals on Wheels routes are canceled due to poor weather, these boxes are given twice a year to be used in emergencies when meals as expected cannot arrive. The boxes contain many staple items that are easy to prepare. Elementary school students have also donated their time and coloring skills to make cards that will be included in the box and guaranteed to bring a smile. If you are interested in volunteering to deliver these boxes, please contact the ADRC at 715-839-4735 and ask for Becky. All boxes are packed in-house by FMP volunteers.
Thursday, April 11 | 4:30 - 6:30 PM
Come to our Open House to hear how your support has continued to make a significant difference to our neighbors struggling with hunger. Throughout the evening there will be tours, food, and live music.
Displays will showcase FMP's new programs and partnerships as the food bank moves into the future to proactively meet the needs of residents experiencing hunger in west central Wisconsin.
