Empty Bowls — Save the Date

Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 4, 2021

11 AM - 7 PM

Empty Bowls brings community members together for food and fellowship. Students and local artists donate hundreds of hand-crafted bowls in support of the event. Proceeds from Empty Bowls help Feed My People provide food to thousands of hungry families throughout west central Wisconsin.

Pop-Up Food Pantry in Eau Claire

Friday, April 10  | 2:30 - 4 PM

If you are in need of some extra groceries including fresh produce and meat, stop by this weekly distribution in the Lakeshore Elementary parking lot. It will be conducted like a drive-thru to help limit contact. Available to anyone in need of food, it is free to you and you do not need to be a resident of Eau Claire to participate. No ID required. If you are on foot, please bring a bag/box to help carry your groceries home. 

Location: Lakeshore Elementary School parking lot (across the street from Carson Park) 711 Lake St, Eau Claire

Are you in need of some extra groceries? Come to this EXTRA food pantry event to pick up some groceries. To help limit contact, this distribution will be conducted like a drive-thru. Anyone in need is welcome and no ID is required.

POSTPONED: Stamp Out Hunger

Stamp Out Hunger is the largest one-day food drive in the nation. Look for more information from your letter carrier on how you can participate. Feed My People is also in need of plenty of volunteers that day. For more info contact Nick at nick@fmpfoodbank.org.

NEW DATE: 2020 Hunger & Health Summit

Sunday, September 27 - Tuesday, September 29

Originally scheduled for April 27-29, it is now set for September 27-29. The Feeding Wisconsin Hunger and Health Summit is an annual two-day gathering of nearly 300 direct service providers, state agencies, healthcare providers, insurance providers, anti-hunger and food system advocates, and other stakeholders interested in fighting hunger, improving health, and strengthening communities.
