Head over to the Chippewa Valley Museum to check out the their Christmas Village. It includes everything from local buildings to winter scenes A 384 Sq. ft. layout complete with local buildings, winter scenes, lights and sounds. There's also crafts to make, pictures to color, and floor trains to play with. This year entries in the museum's gingerbread house contest will also be on display from Nov. 23rd to Dec. 15th. We've even heard that Santa Claus is planning to stop by regularly (call the museum to confirm when Santa will be there, as his schedule is quite busy this time of year). For more info call the museum at (715) 834-7871. Trains run Tuesdays (closed Christmas Day) and Thursdays from 5pm-8pm, and Saturdays from 1pm-5pm until Dec 29th.
All attendees will be welcomed to give a monetary donation (CASH or CHECK only) with half of all proceeds going directly to Feed My People Foodbank and the remaining funds going directly to support the Chippewa Valley Museum.
