Volunteer Appreciation Month

April marks National Volunteer Appreciation Month. As Feed My People Food Bank celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, more than ever we are wanting to thank our amazing volunteers who helped us get where we are today - serving 64,000 people annually. Every week, we are thankful to see both new and returning volunteers who light up the warehouse.

"Besides the obvious that volunteers help us run as a non-profit, I always say that volunteers are the greatest co-workers who come in every day. Their positivity brightens my day and certainly the lives of all those we serve." - Ken Sitzman, Volunteer Lead

This month we will be celebrating our rockstar volunteers with a t-shirt gift and lots of high fives. As we continue to serve our mission to ensure no one goes hungry we thank you all for continuing to work alongside us. If you would like to volunteer at FMP, we always have a need for help in areas from helping with truck driving, and Pop-Up Pantries to warehouse packing and helping at the front desk.
