Connie and Pat Ulrich established the Ulrich Trust to benefit students and others in the Eau Claire area. Connie and Pat grew up in Eau Claire and it was the sister's desire to give back to the community that raised them.

Connie Ulrich graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1947. She attended the UW-La Crosse, graduating in 1951 with a degree in Physical Education. After college, Connie taught at Memorial High School for many years and coached several girls' gymnastics and track and field teams. She also enjoyed helping with many different drama performances at MHS. Connie loved to travel, was an avid antique collector, played bridge with many different friends, enjoyed buying and renovating houses, and loved her pet pugs.

Coyla "Pat" Ulrich graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1943. She graduated with a degree in Education from the UW-Eau Claire in 1947. After college, she taught history at Nekoosa High School. She also taught in Winona, Green Bay, Fond Du Lac, and West Salem. While teaching in these schools, she became a licensed librarian.
