As the only food bank in west central Wisconsin, Feed My People distributes 7.3 million pounds a year to local agencies. We are a cost effective way to provide pantries, community tables, and shelters enough food so thousands of people can be helped each month.
FMP Voted Number One Family Favorite Place to Volunteer
Volume One's publication, Chippewa Valley Family, held a reader poll called "Family Favorites" this summer. Feed My People Food Bank took first place for Family Favorite Place to Volunteer!
We're glad to hear that Chippewa Valley families enjoy volunteering at Feed My People. We also see many school groups, businesses, grandparents, college students, civic organizations, churches and more pass through our doors all on a mission to contribute towards ending hunger in west central Wisconsin.
Open volunteer nights are held once a month the second Thursday of every month from 4-7 PM, and there are plenty of other shifts as well. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator Nick Bursaw at 715-835-9415 x101 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a time to come in during the week and get started.
