2024 Organization of the Year: CVTC
Since 2004, Feed My People (FMP) and its board of directors have selected a standout organization or...
The ThankFULL Project is returning this November with a mission to raise at least $100,000 to ensure everyone in our communities facing food insecurity has access to food this holiday season. The funds will support local food pantries, school markets, meal sites, and direct programs like pop-up pantry distributions.
Ann Gunderson Thornburg has generously offered a $30,000 matching gift towards the campaign goal. All those who donate will double their impact until the match is reached.
"We have so much while others have so little. Now, more than ever, our gifts are our best response to 'Feed My People.' We are so thankFULL to have FMP fulfilling this mission in our communities!" shared Ann on why she chose to gift the match.
The ThankFULL Project match will begin on November 19 and conclude on Tuesday, December 3, which also coincides with Giving Tuesday.
For those interested in donating and learning more about how far their dollars will stretch, please visit the campaign page at give.fmpfoodbank.org/thankfull.
Additionally, special volunteer opportunities include a Giving Tuesday pack-a-thon at the food bank. A tentative volunteer opportunity is also set for Thanksgiving morning. Volunteers will have the chance to pack much-needed food for distribution to our 250+ hunger relief partners and programs.
